The new h2 Hummer —-2008

The new h2  Hummer 2008 have very big horsepower, they all have the new engines which are AMG’s most popular ones,if you own a h2  Hummer car ,that means you will own the most strong horsepower

Hummer, a victim of soaring gas prices and the accompanying move by consumers away from large sports-utility vehicles, is expected to be sold as part of the Detroit-based automaker’s broader plan to restructure its operations. GM earlier this month said that it was exploring options for the brand, which it bought from AM General Corp. in 1998, and closing four North American plants as it tries to cope with slowing sales of trucks.

Some in the industry have predicted GM will hold on to the brand and recast it as a more fuel-efficient crossover vehicle. But public perception of Hummer — which has come to epitomize poor fuel economy — coupled with rumored interest from Indian and Russian automakers that could provide GM with much-needed funds to help it transform its money-losing North American operations, could be enough to talk the automaker into making a deal. – Lou Whiteman

2008 Honda S2000 – Review

The 2008 Honda S2000 is a milestone in that maker’s lineup. The sports car has all of the streamlined, aerodynamic design, akin to the Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder, that a buyer could ever want. The performance is unbeatable for the price, and the car is simply “cool.” Honda has created a lightweight, super fast, incredibly stylish sports car. They have accomplished the dreams of many makers.

Even though the S2000 only has a 2.2L 4-cylinder engine, it produces a whopping 237 horsepower. The 6-speed manual transmission gives drivers the ability to control each and every gearshift, which means higher speeds in faster time. The double wishbone suspension brings to mind agile racecars. Also, for those into street racing, the Honda S2000 does not redline until 8000rpm.

2007 Audi RS 4 Review

All new for this model year, and offered in only one trim level, the 2007 Audi RS4 at first appears to be a zippy little sedan with the requisite four doors and seating for five. A look under the hood belies that first impression, though, because this car has power. Specifically, it’s got a 420 horsepower 4.2 liter V8 engine with Audi’s signature “Quattro” technology – their word for all-wheel drive, and a 6-speed manual transmission. It’s also got a comprehensive electronic stability control system that combines anti-lock brakes and a special disc-drying program with traction control.

Inside the car, which has a black interior dark enough to rival the Bat-mobile, though it’s enhanced with carbon fiber trim, you’ll find heated, power-adjustable front seats designed by Recaro, the company known for designing race-car seats. Unlike a race car, however, the RS4 also has a comfortable back seat with room for three, and a generous amount of trunk space, both of which remind us that this only feels like a sports car, and is really a family sedan.

Corvette ZR1 Goes on Sale as this Summer

Although labeled as a “gas guzzler,” the new Chevrolet Corvette, ZR1 will go on sale this summer with a sticker price of $105,000. The six-figure purchase includes the cost of shipping and $1,700 in taxes for the lack of fuel efficiency.

The sleek, performance vehicle will offer only two options, the addition of chrome wheels for $2,000 and a $10,000 interior package. The latter includes sports seats trimmed in leather with the ZR1 logo, air bags in the side position, and a Bose audio system with navigation.

General Motors indicated the minimal options reflected the fact that most fans will want the base car running at the lightest weight possible. Those customers who do go for full options will pay approximately $117,000.

Only 2,000 of the ZR1s will be built annually and it is expected that the price at most dealerships will exceed the sticker price due to high demand.

The ZR1 outperforms the Corvette Z06 by three tenths of a second, making the zero to sixty jump in 3.4 seconds. At the 100 mph jump the ZR1 requires only 7 seconds, a full second better than the Z06.

The car is powered by a 6.2-liter LS9 V8 producing 638 hp with a top speed of 205 mph. Estimated fuel economy is 14 mpg city and 20 on the open road.

Road Tests First Drive: 2008 Audi RS4 Cabriolet By Dan Edmunds

We can hardly believe our eyes. We’re part of a group huddled in the pre-dawn light of Paris, and no one has stepped up to snag the keys to the 2008 Audi RS4 Cabriolet present for our edification. Yes, that RS4 — the one with the fantastic 420-horsepower V8 up its nose now comes as a convertible.

Apparently everyone else is afraid that by wading into the notorious Parisian traffic they risk getting brushed off the road by a wayward bus, into the path of an apple cart or a row of café tables.

Enough of this. Haven’t they seen the short film Rendezvous (1976) by Claude Lelouch? You know, the one where a guy races through the pre-dawn light of Paris in what is supposed to be a Ferrari 275 GTB to meet with his sweet mademoiselle near the steps of the Sacré Coeur? Decision made. Hand over the keys already.
