2008 Honda Civic Review

The 2008 Honda Civic is a small car available as a sedan or coupe. For both, there are five main trim levels: DX, LX, EX, EX-L and Si. On the Civic sedan, Honda also offers the Hybrid, the GX and the Mugen Si. The DX is meant for those on a tight budget and offers little more than power windows, a tilt/telescoping steering wheel and a height-adjustable driver seat. The more popular midgrade LX comes with 16-inch steel wheels, air-conditioning, full power accessories, keyless entry, cruise control and a four-speaker CD/MP3 audio system with an auxiliary audio jack.

Going with a Civic EX gets you 16-inch alloy wheels, a sunroof, six-speaker audio with steering-wheel-mounted audio controls and a 60/40-split rear seatback with a rear armrest. This year’s new Civic EX-L comes with leather upholstery and heated front seats. The Civic Si has most of the EX’s features plus a high-output engine, sport-tuned suspension, 17-inch alloy wheels, a premium audio system and special interior trim. High-performance summer tires are an option for the Si, and a navigation system is offered for the Si and EX/EX-L models. Hybrid models are equipped similarly to the EX and have automatic climate control and optional navigation. The GX has a feature list similar to the LX’s. (Read the article)

2008 Ford Escape Review

The Ford Escape has been thoroughly updated for 2008, reinforcing the character and appeal that have made it America’s perennial best-selling small sport-utility vehicle. The improvements nearly cover the spectrum, and inject a new level of refinement. The Escape’s standard safety features are upgraded significantly for 2008.

The new 2008 Ford Escape still provides comfortable seating for four, or five in a pinch, but with noticeably more headroom than in pre-2008 models. Folding the rear seats opens a good sized cargo area with a flat floor, and space behind the seat surpasses that in the trunk of the typical sedan. Interior storage options have improved considerably. The finish is more upscale and pleasing, and feature function and switches are among the best.

Safety features that were extra-cost options on lower-trim models are now standard across the board, including Ford’s Roll Stability Control system. Escape now sets the class benchmark for safety features. (Read the article)

2008 Ford Explorer Sport Trac Review

The Ford Explorer Sport Trac is a four-door, five-passenger, midsize pickup. It was unique when it first appeared in 2000, but today it must compete with midsize four-door pickups from every major player.

Essentially a Ford Explorer with a pickup bed, the Sport Trac offers plenty of room inside for people and out back for cargo. It comes standard with a 4.0-liter V6 that makes 210 horsepower, and a 292-hp V8 is optional. Both engines are available with rear- or four-wheel drive.

With the V8, the Sport Trac offers power near the top of the class. The power is delivered smoothly, but isn’t as responsive in passing maneuvers as some might wish. (Read the article)

2008 Ford Expedition Review

Do you love the expedition? If you want to have a expedition,I think you need  a car which named    2008 Ford expedition!so you can have a look the fllowing words.

True expeditions require additional transportation conveyances: horses, boats, cars, for example. With a towing capacity around 9,000 pounds, the Ford Expedition can tow any of these.

After redesigning the Expedition for 2007 while also lowering the price, Ford adds a new top end King Ranch model for 2008, as well as an available rear backup camera and power-retractable running boards.

The Expedition is meant for utility, not posing. It carries people, hauls gear, tows boats, and pulls campers. When it’s equipped with four-wheel drive, the Expedition will also get you there whether the road is dry, wet, snowy, or even when there’s hardly any road at all.

Inside, the Expedition features rich materials and generous space in all three seating rows. The second- and third-row seats fold flat to create a useful rear cargo area. Extended-wheelbase EL versions add even more cargo-carrying capacity, which is especially noticeable when trying to load groceries or gear behind the third-row seats. (Read the article)

2008 Ford Mustang Review

2008 Ford Mustang defined the pony car segment in 1964 and was a runaway sales success. It helped create a niche that exploded in popularity with the Camaro, Firebird, Barracuda, Cougar, Javelin, and Challenger. They’re all gone now, leaving the Mustang with no direct competition, at least for now.Fortunately, today’s Mustang, introduced three years ago, is a superb example of the genre. The Mustang GT comes with a 300-hp V8 and is an absolute hoot to drive, making all the right sounds, hanging onto corners tenaciously, and delivering thrilling acceleration performance. The American pony car has never been better than the current Mustang GT.

The Mustang is available as a coupe or convertible. The Mustang V6 Deluxe is a nice cruiser and its 4.0-liter V6 engine is a solid performer, all for around $20,000. But the Mustang GT is what the Mustang is all about and the basis of the legend. (Read the article)

2008 Ford Explorer Review

Ford Explorer is a traditional midsize SUV with body-on-frame construction. Available with V6 or V8 power, the Explorer competes against the Chevy TrailBlazer, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Toyota 4Runner, and Nissan Pathfinder.Explorer was completely redesigned for the 2006 model year and we were pleased with the new steering, new suspension, and new brakes, all of which were vastly improved over the previous-generation. The latest Explorer is quieter than previous models, and it rides better. It leans less in corners and the brakes are more responsive. The rear seats fold flatter, and the interior has been improved throughout. More important, it’s a very nice vehicle that’s pleasant to live with and it compares well with the competition.

All Explorers offer a smooth ride and decent handling for such big, heavy vehicles. The interiors are pleasant, with only oddly designed door panels to complain about. With five, six, or seven-passenger seating configurations, customers can outfit their Explorers to fit their passenger and cargo carrying needs.

With the V8 engine, the Explorer is rated to tow up to a whopping 7,310 pounds; that’s about as much as a Jeep Grand Cherokee with a Hemi. And Explorer is rated to carry up to 1,531 pounds of payload.

Explorer has earned the best possible impact protection rating in the federal government’s crash tests: five stars for the driver in a frontal impact, the front-seat passenger in a frontal impact, front-seat occupants in a side impact, and rear-seat occupants in a side impact, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s 2006 model year New Car Assessment Program. Ford says the Explorer is designed to meet all known federal frontal- and side-impact crash requirements through 2010. (Read the article)

2008 Ford F-250 Review

The 2008 Ford Super Duty comes in myriad configurations, with four trim levels, four weight divisions, and two box sizes (6.75 feet, 8 feet), the majority available in two-wheel drive or four-wheel drive. Almost every permutation is built. Exceptions: The King Ranch version is offered only on Crew Cabs, the F-450 is long-bed Crew Cab only, and the FX4 trim is not offered on 2WD, any F-450, or with a regular cab.A 5.4-liter V8 with 300 horsepower and 365 pound-feet of torque is standard on all models up to the F-350 Crew Cab DRW, which has the 362-hp, 457 lb-ft 6.8-liter V10 standard. Both the V10 and 6.4-liter diesel (350 hp, 650 lb-ft) are optional across the F-250/F-350 spectrum, but the diesel is the only engine offered on F-450. A six-speed manual is standard, a five-speed automatic available.

The base XL is commercial in nature, with vinyl seats and flooring, black painted grille and bumpers, plain trim, AM/FM stereo, and a weight-appropriate receiver hitch. 2008 BMW 5-Series Review

2008 BMW 5-Series is the new kind of car ,it has the wonderful horsepower!mow youcan have a look!

Changes for 2008 represent the most significant model-year update since the current 5 Series was launched in 2003. They include mild exterior revisions, improvements to the interior and a significant power boost for six-cylinder models. The new 528i, formerly the 525i, is the most powerful entry-level 5 Series to date. The twin-turbo 535i, formerly the 530i, is the quickest six-cylinder 5 Series car ever. The change in BMW’s numeric naming scheme is a result of the change in engines, but the various models and their relationship to each other remain basically the same.

Their basic character hasn’t changed a bit, because every 5 Series puts an emphasis on the driving. This mid-size luxury sedan remains a true sports sedan in any of its variations, including the 535xi wagon and other models equipped with all-wheel drive. Regardless of engine size or equipment level, the 5 Series line delivers lively acceleration, precise handling and outstanding brakes. It’s available with a conventional manual transmission, which is increasingly hard to find in this class.

This car has just about everything you could ask for in a luxury sedan, including the features, comfort and convenience of full-size luxury models, the sporting character of smaller ones, and a good compromise between interior space and physical bulk.

The 5 Series line offers more model choices than most cars in its class, with prices spread from the mid-$40,000 range to over $90,000. Even the base 528i boasts spirited performance, with decent fuel economy to lower operating costs. The 300-hp six-cylinder in the 535i matches some V8s, while the V8-powered 550i delivers true high performance by any definition. The limited-production M5 can out-accelerate, out-brake and out corner some expensive sports cars, with comfortable seating for five. There’s a wagon for those who want more room for cargo and BMW’s x-Drive full-time all-wheel drive for drivers in the snow belt.

Lexus IS300 TURbo Kit

The Lexus IS300 has struck a chord with savvy enthusiasts who recognize the car’s intoxicating blend of luxury appointments, seductive styling and a robust suspension. There has also been a lot of action under the hood with a multitude of turbo kits, supercharger setups and engine swaps unleashed on the Lexus.

The car was up and running and was driven to Vegas, but there could be no big boosting because tuning had yet to be completed. The tuning strategy uses a HKS F-CON V Pro as the centerpiece. The problem? This unit is so new no shops had the software needed to properly program the unit. HKS manager of research and development, Jon Kuroyama, made a special house call to Area 51. The results of this visit will be outlined in a future tuning article.

If you are going to go pure Altezza, it’s wise to look the part. Oscar elected to mix and match J-spec parts along with some home-grown pieces to attain the ultimate in VIP sedan style.

At the nose, an Altezza grille was an obvious call but the crazy Top Secret G-Force front bumper cover really adds an aggressive aura to the Lexus.

Down the side are Wald fender flares, Super VIP side skirts and some absolutely dope APR carbon-fiber side mirrors. Deuce Kustoms grafted on the body parts and sprayed the IS300 gold. Deuce had to rework the front flares so they would integrate with the Top Secret nosepiece and they pulled it off nicely.

At the rear, 3 inches were taken out of the inner fender to accommodate the beefy Toyo tires. A combination of 18×10 Volk Racing GT-N wheels and 255/35ZR-18 tires provide the boosted hybrid Lexus with a big traction patch. Up front, the car runs 225/35s wrapped around 18×8 GT-Ns.
